I'm not sure, but I think you just have to turn on TMC again. In some cases (updates) it turn's off in my car. I don't know why. Perhaps your's, too.
Map > Information > Traffic Information > TMC (or something like that) Everything should be gray, except the TMC word. When you choose it, the other words should turn from gray to white and the TMC sign should appear a few secounds later. |

Thanks for the help, but it isn't that....it won't let me turn TMC on at all, it is greyed out, but will not select/deselect.... I hoped it would be somtehing simple, but it appears that the upgrade/downgrade situation has messed something up.

tim, is the TMC channel tuned to classic FM? check the info button (top right) and see if its selected.
I know when I've updated the firmware the tmc has been disabled.

Hi All,
I am wondering if any of you had to deal with a similar problem to the one that I have. I am trying to run Navcoder on a PC running Windows 2000 Pro (I have been able previously to run Navcoder v 1.20) on it. When I attempt to run the newer version, I am getting the following error message: Run Time Error: 380 Invalid Property value Do you have any idea what the problem is? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Peter Tanev

Check that the COM port in use is between 1-16 If your interface loads as higher than COM16, let me know, I'll send you the next version of NavCoder. Jochen |

@kiwiJochen
perhaps i found a bug. If I check the box "show arrival time", i get just --:-- on the arrival time display. If i uncheck it and code, i get the time. Perhaps you should rename the box. "Hide arrival time".

This is not a bug. It is how the nav computer works. On some vehicles (X5), you must tick 'Show arrival time' for the arrival time to display. On other vehicles, this must be left unchecked (eg E38, E39).
The exact reason why is unclear. Hence I leave the option available to use if required. |
