Hi Everyone! Im new here and as crappy as it may be Im starting out with a "can you help me" post. I have a 04 x5 and an 01 540i which i just updated with a MK4 that i bought on ebay from Latvia!!! well it all works great but ±I would really like to update the firmware, I already downloaded the two files with ±±V32 from the top of this page, one original and one that is a poison file (i guess) it has night mode camera alerts and the M logo all of which sound great. I would be happy to pay pal someone a fee to direct me on what and how to load this sucker in to my nav!! Thanks so much for any and all help!!
I GOT IT!!! so now im off to see about the splash screen12 wish me luck! Last edited by Project5; 02-28-2012 at 02:44 PM. |

Hi,
I am a new member on this forum. First of all id like to say what a good forum this is! I have already sorted out a few issues with my car just by reading several posts. I bought a 2003 3.0d X5 last week and upgraded the onboard computer to firmware v32. I have the MK4 Navigation DVD unit. The problem is that when i try to change the language to english (GB) it ignores my request and goes back to "Aus" language. Can someone please help me out, perhaps i need to upgrade again using a different disk? Thanks for your help in advance! Tommy |

A little help please....
I have been reading on this forum for a few weeks, and could use a little hand holding... I have recently bought an 05 X5 4.4 for my wife. The navigation unit doesn't seem to be up to par. I am assuming the previous owner never updated the system to current available standards. I have seen in several places that version 32 is available and it should cost around $16. I went to our local dealership today, and asked for the update CD for our X, and was the appropriate DVD is $199. I was obviously shocked and instantly knew I was not completely clear on what I needed. The part number the guy told me was 65 90 2 241 695 My question now is... what exactly do I need to do an update on our system? Our current system shows SW 4-1/50 on the screen. |

Read post #7 from Brian. http://www.xoutpost.com/electronics/...avi02-e65.html
What part of town are you in? I have the disk and my Indy at Auto Europe also has it. We are in Midtown. Brian has it too but he is in Peachtree Corners. |

I read that post, and that seems to be what happened for me. I am now curious as to what they were quoting me? I am in Social Circle (near Covington/Conyers) , but work in East Atlanta. I would love to meet up with you and get a little assistance on the upgrade. Is my SW 4-1/50 likely the software that came with the car in 05? Edit: I just purchased online from pelican parts. I ordered part number 01.59-0 141 891. Total price was $6.75 with $3.45 shipping via usps. Last edited by DADx2; 06-26-2012 at 10:07 AM. |

They are quoting you the 2012 DVD map discs. The OS CD is different and cheap. I expect your nav has never been updated. Takes about 10 min.
