Adding POIs and patching the OS are 2 different things mate.

Patching the OS = enabling the alert function to the OS.
Adding POIs = adding POIs to the OEM map disc.

The OS patch only works on a navboot file (mk4).

Use POISon.exe to add POIs to the OEM map disc, point E: page 1, post 1 of this thread.

BMW.Road.Map.Europe.HIGH.DVD.20010-01.MULTiLANGUAGE Speedcams

I have added speedcam in BMW.Road.Map.Europe.HIGH.CD 2009-02 I can see speedcams and i have voice alert. I do all (as post#12 in page#2 says) with BMW.Road.Map.Europe.HIGH.DVD.20010-01.MULTiLANGUAGE with poison but I can't see speedcams and I haven't voice alert. When I check DB I see that the speedcams added.
Speedcams work with CD but not with DVD
Thanks

Navteq have blocked unused POI's from the carindb, so although they load and register in the carindb, they don't work (icon or alert)

I have found a way round this and have a fix but I'm still testing, I'll post the fix when I'm happy it works properly.
