i can´t replace the icon_86.... with new 2D-version of icon_86, course my nawtweak will crash at work or at saving the file.
i´ve tested it with the 3d icons, so 2D was replace with the 3D from act. version and it works.

BTW:

A new small Download of rom_col´s
In Day-View the Menue ist Green and in Night-View the Menucolor iss blue.
I´ve changed ccfl1 Night-View, too:
- in the GPS-Symbol (upper right) will bee at night, too
- the city, wood, urban, industry, mountain are now "lighter" and no longer black, so it´s just visible
- the water (river, sea, ...) iss darker, too

rom_col = green, 4:3 (day)
rom_col_1 = green, 16:9 (day)
rom_col_2 = blue, 4:3 (night)
rom_col_3 = blue, 16:9 (night)

"Volker v8" did find 3 new arrows for the 3D View. He´s still painting new one for the 3D and the 2D version and I will bring them here, when he´s finished...

He will open the ring in driving direction so you can see the street.
The 4. image iss the old 2D and the 5th is the new which will "opened".

Use navtweak 2.6, I get the same thing with 2.7 (with poison patched navboot).

Or start from a new navboot and patch last.

How did you manage to change any values in ??

rom_col = green, 4:3 (day) wrong way round, this is wide.
rom_col_1 = green, 16:9 (day) wrong way round, this is split.

rom_col not working (day, wide)

But to change the color, you can select a catergory and then you can select an other color, or make like me: I´v looked where iss the color yoused, too - so i did find no match, so i changed the color by change the values for red with green...

I did this and it still does not change rom_col.

Rom_col1 (spilt, day), rom_col (day, wide) not working, it's changed in navboot, bot does not get loaded, by nav computer).

1/2 Correct,

rom_col = day, wide = OEM colours (not green, so not working)
rom_col_1 = day, split = Green (changed, working OK)
rom_col_2 = night, wide = blue (changed, working OK)
rom_col_3 = night, split = blue (changed, working OK)

hmm, not sure, could be.

What I do know is, that the tablet can be changed, but the modded rom_col (day,wide) is not loaded when the nav is updated.

I suspect the the rom_col is locked (in the OS bootloader) as this is the primary rom_col.

At a guess, I suspect the the navboot would need to be disassembled into its component parts and then the rom_col modded, then reassembled.

rom_col is ever so slightly smaller tha the other rom_col files so (again a guess) it has a flag that the nav sees as locked.
