Wow, must be really busy. This server has been constantly busy the past 36hrs, or just wants me to sign up!?!
Any chance you can use the same server as last time?

So i posted this is my what else can i do thread...
Hmm.. I wouldn't think the recompile would be all that hard? Anyway (transfering my map image to a machine with a dvd burnder so i can burn it) Just loaded the modified firmware, everything seems alright, except my Night time color scheme doesn't seem all that correct. Im wondering if i imported the rom_col_2 and 3 correctly? I imported them into rom col 2 so they are there... but when i look at navboot in navtweek, there is: rom_col / rom_col_1 / rom_col_2 / rom_col_3 (and so on) i inported 2 into rom_col_2 and 3 into rom_col_3 should this have been: rom_col_2 -> rom_col rom_col_3 -> rom_col_1 Also once i get this fixed (in order to update whats the easiest way to change firmware versions) and end up with the corrected one... It seems i did everything right, and things are in the right place... E46... mkiv.. and I have the new spalsh screen, and day/ night and poi wordings??? |

open nvtweak load a navboot go to modules tab scroll to rom_col_2 replace with nightmode rom_col_2 go to colours tab and select rom_col_2 and look in the "map colours" it should now have the nightmodes colours loaded. go to modules tab scroll to rom_col_3 replace with nightmode rom_col_3 go to colours tab and select rom_col_3 and look in the "map colours" it should now have the nightmodes colours loaded. then save the navboot Quote:
In navboot go to the strings tab, and scroll down to 1/343 and copy 1/342, or insert your own text.

Yes, I've downloaded that and tried it, but it appears to be a front end oly and requires the full suite of os9000/os9 tools to be loaded, so wile it run, it barfs when it tries to load the modules (because they are not there).
Be happy to talk offline mate, time permitting.
