And something else that has really blown my mind! Their playing the prayer of salvation to Jesus on tv channels that are not solely Christian programming. I can’t recall ever seeing that.

Something very big is going on! Let’s hope and pray those of us with some common sense left, can weather the storm.

A faction of a population always always swings toward the leadership characteristics of the time.

And, I don’t know if it’s just me but, days, weeks, months, and most recently years seem to be flying by. I mean sometimes I start on a Monday, I blink and it’s Thursday. Also, you would think this slow down would have an impact, but for me it hasn’t. This week blew by.

Unfortunately the older one gets the faster the weeks go by.

Yes, we could all use a little humor to detract from the doom and gloom that seems to get worse everyday.

Masks Save Lives - COVID-19

I know I'll probably get some heat for posting this, but i do believe having an extra layer of protection will decrease our chances of getting this virus.

So, read on and make your own educated judgement.

Not many people around my neighborhood are wearing them. But I'm not gonna let peer pressure stop me from doing so.

Personally, I think it's pretty stupid to only wear it if you are sick.

Do you think all the people in the service and medical industry are sick? Because they are all wearing them!

It's better used as a preventive measure. Let's all start wearing it regardless of where we go and what we do. As long as we're going to place where people are, put it on.

It's just a slight inconvenience, but better safe than sorry, no?

Stay safe and healthy!

By all means if the mask is rated CCP3 or better and you remember to wash your hands with soap before putting it on and taking off and not touching your face or inner side of the mask while doing so.

Been using the need to stay home as an excuse to wrench more :) Masks are a must for me as I am in two risk categories. My wife is very unhappy if I enter any store.... So parts all come by delivery now.

But as I mentioned earlier in the thread I am getting more and more sure that the gov't directions to not use masks for the public was solely to preserve supply for first responders and medical personnel. We'll see how history judges that decision. I am not saying that decision is the correct or incorrect thing to do, just that I think it happened.

Agreed Clavurion, N95 masks aren't 100% effective, but if they are even 20% effective that's not an insignificant number of cases prevented. I will be wearing one anytime I leave the car to go into a store for something.

Stay safe. I'm finding a large part of this experience is keeping my wife on an even keel so we can always present a sense of normalcy to the kids.
