So to follow up on my earlier post..
I’ve seen people on this board give condolences because someone’s significant other was in a fender bender, but I come on here posting that I nearly lost family members to this virus and no one even bats an eye. No sorry to hear that, or I hope your family recovers. And then everyone wonders why our country has gone to shit! No one on this board has any REAL sympathy, because if you did there would have been replies, even if you don’t like me. That’s why we’re in the situation we’re in. Because nobody give a shit anymore. But, for me.. I pray to Jesus all of you here on this board and your families, friends, or whoever is important to you be healed in the name of Jesus. I don’t care if y’all don’t like me. It’s not going to stop me from praying for y’all while we’re going though this VERY hard time. HAPPY |

I consider these members friends, we all share a common interest in the E53, but to read their posts it is just division of our forum and division of our country. I have stayed silent just to keep politics out of this thread but I have sympathy for what you have endured, I am trembling with fear for my own family and trembling with fear for the outcome of others like your daughter and father. This pandemic is becoming real, much larger than the partisan political views of the previous posts in this thread. |
RE: X5 Unrelated, but Good Information in Times of Need
I am neither democratic or republican. I am a Christian, and all that matters to me is making sure that I please my father in heaven so that I may live another day. Yesterday is forgotten, today has enough problems, and tomorrow is not promised. That was my only point, that we need to get real right now! The situation is very serious.
Overboost thank you so much for showing support. Some of us never get support, some of us have lived our entire life without support. But, it’s by the Holy Spirit and my Savior Jesus Christ that I’ve made it to this point. Right now nothing else matters, all I care is that we all make it through this. |

As for diplomacy I can tell you that it most certainly is tit-for-tat as that's how countries basically say what would happen if such and such happened (basic generalization) I have at times over my life while in and out of the military worked at the White House (Clinton) DSSS (G. W. Bush) & Department of State Bureau of Political/Military Affairs (Obama) and my experience is that diplomacy is nothing more than saying "Nice doggy" all while getting a bigger stick. I know that you didn't mean it that way (surely) that reporters time is more valuable than the leader of the free world and he should drop everything to keep to a schedule.... In the military and most places if you're on time you are late, but even the military has the expression (If the General wears his underwear outside his pants he's not wrong) i.e. If it's not illegal then the one who makes the rules.... makes the rules. Happy, I only read from page 7. I am sorry for your loss as this is the first I'm hearing of it. I also have people in my life who got it, but luckily they are turning the corner. I hope you and your family can take solace in your good memories of them.

As to the politics aspect. It's hard to separate the current crisis from the politics. The 2 parties have been at war for awhile now and we are finally in a position where real damage is being done to everyone because of it. Hell the gov't was shutting down once or twice a year for the last few years. Disgusting. I am an independent and most Republicans and Democrats in office are 2 opposing sides of the same coin. They share the same flaws. I'll make fun of Schumer and Pelosi if it makes everyone feel better. Quote:

I did not have loss, but VERY close. However, it changed me permanently seeing my loved ones near death. I will never forget the healing they received, it was God himself whom allowed them to live. The Bible says according to Jesus; “I am the way, the truth, and the life, No one will enter the kingdom of heaven, unless through the the son”. The Father, nor the Son, nor the Holy Spirit, took a member of my family. However, to me personally, I cannot become complacent. This is not a time for in lack of a better term BS’n. My family members were spared, but only because of their love for Jesus. Trust me, I seen it with my own eyes. These times are no coincidence, we had it coming, myself included. We all got a bit to comfortable, but.... It’s not too late we can change. People need to realize life is a gift! Hug your Wife, your Son, your Daughter, your Mother, your Father! Whomever is important to you. You never know if it’s going to be your last chance! Love, HAPPY |

There are plenty of things to be unhappy about but we all should make sure it's substantive and not a perception that we make into a reality. Sent from my SM-A730F using Tapatalk |
