Rather than flat say they disagree with something are they holding back? I continue to watch hoping the government will take a universal stand on what the states should do. The government needs to centralize distribution based on urgent needs for supplies and stop states and the government from outbidding each other and running up the cost of a mask, for instance, from $.85 to $7.00. As it is stands states are most likely ordering far more than they guess they will ever need as a precaution or stockpiling. Bulk shipments of supplies could go to distribution centers like those of Walmart which are in every state. Break them down and use Walmart trucks to get them where they need to go. Amazon could be another option.
I don't agree that we need to focus restrictions on the hot spots. All that means is there will be more and more hotspots and the spread of the virus will be faster. We need universal restrictions and that will only happen if the government mandates them. If the states want more stringent restrictions that's fine but this wait and see what happens when we know what will happen is crazy to me.

I've stopped watching the white house coronavirus briefings. Like Crystalworks I just can't stand watching trump perform his one man show anymore. Whatever urgency and truth that the experts intend on bringing to the American public just gets twisted and molded to fit Trump's personal needs.
The callousness in his voice and those eyes devoid of any empathy reminds me so much of Bernie Madoff. Such a frightening trait to have in a president.
Better to listen to our own state's governors and get the latest information from CDC, WHO and NPR directly.
It's strange that mask wearing has not really caught on in the states. Every time I visit the grocery stores I just feel so naked without having a mask. But NOBODY is wearing them!!
There's no way of knowing whether you are a carrier of the virus or not, yet NOBoDY is wearing them.
Just yesterday morning I saw 5 old men and women in their 60s power walking on the sidewalk. Each about 2~3 feet from one another. Chatting as they walked. No masks.
How is this helpful??
