Hope this helps!

You are a Goddess  . Are you telling me that the keyboard i.e. letters and symbols etc... illuminate? Looks like it, if so that is HUGE!!! Thank you so much, now I'm getting excited :D.

Thanx for the compliment. ;) No, the letters etc. don't illuminate, that's just the flash from the camera. Sorry, I didn't mean to get you all excited......although, if they did, that would be REALLY cool! Like the eyes of an Alienware laptop, the contrasting white apple on the case does illuminate when the computer's on. If you're in close proximity to a CompUSA you really should check 'em out, though.

Only the Macbook Pro's have keys that illuminate... sorry :(

As someone already noted, one can configure a white MacBook with the same specs as the black MacBook... for $50 less. Among the Mac community, this is commonly referred to as the "Black Tax." :D

I stand corrected. "Black tax," huh? Pretty funny!

 $50 I can handle

Here's another question for you experts. I know that Mac's are much more secure than PC's simply because spammers etc... target PC's due to their market share. What would you suggest for the best Anti Virus program made to work seamlessly with a Mac?

This is what I have.... but I'm no expert.

I just read their entire web page. This program looks perfect for me, assuming that it will work with the soon to be released Leopard OS. Here is the one I am looking at:

Internet Security Barrier X4 Antispam Edition - Single-user license
https://www.intego.com/pix/logo_isbx4ae.gif

Is this the one you would recommend from their list of offerings? LINK

Last but not least, will the MacBook have it's own robust firewall, so I won't need to buy an aftermarket firewall. My assumption is that I won't need to buy one.

I'm just trying to get all my ducks in a row prior to purchase.

Thanks!

A good guage regarding what is needed for OSX is what the developers are doing regarding protection. The Mac community at large dosen't pay attention to what's going on behind the scenes. So give the experts your careful attention. http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/ma...19/clamav.html
