Komrades,

I think O's choice of words is unfortunate yet deliberate. What has a greater impact, Wealth Redistribution OR Tax Reform with some Policy Reviews?

Nowhere kan I find a kall to deplete and socialize existing private funds. Think Bolsheviks, Red Army and White Army. That was a true Socialist reform. We are just dilletantes in the Socialist arena. BUT Unkie Sam has provided that all the profits from the banking scandals have been privatized while their expense has bekome socialized. This should have us all pissed off. What would have happened if the Gubment had injected that 850 Billion into the debts of the private sektor and paid off, let's say, the massive credit card debts gripping our nation. hmmmm....

The whole freaking system is 'out of whack'. The policies have been driven by large korporations and their lobbyists. What we have ended up with is a shame. It hinders the small guy from profting as freely as the big guy. IMO O's plan at least will refit some taxations towards the bottom half (actually 90%). Remember the mean income level in USA is 50k.

Let me Qualify, I am not for Obama, this kore ideal is not that bad though. We are just so skrewed. Wish they would all stop knocking on my door. Knuckles needs to spend some time in the front yard this time of year.

No. Wealthy families pay more in school taxes than do poor families, but their kids attend the same schools. That can easily be seen as "spreading the wealth". Why should the poor kids attend schools when their parents did not pay their fair share of school taxes? (before you jump down my throat, the question is obviously a sarcastic one just to point out that even you are in favor of some forms of "wealth redistribution" depending on how it is done)

Does the fire house have a phone? Phone bill? I'm sure there is still a budget for the fire department that is taken from your taxes. Employee wages are just one of many expenses that a fire department has.

Just curious, but if you believe that those items are "entitlements" for a child, then why do you not believe that food, shelter, and health care are entitlements for a child? I fail to see the obvious difference in importance between the above items and these three items.

You fail to understand the difference between "refuses" and "would like to but can't afford it".
