On your X5M, does the speedometer read 4 MPH faster than actual speed? Mine has and does. Got a ticket today for 88mph from an airplane!

I loved my E39 M5. The X5M is better.
The soon to be M5 may be better yet, though I like the view from up here, and I'm going fast enough!

Hi All,

6200 miles on the beast and received the add a quart notice. I'm told the X5M uses 5W-30 like the 750, not the 10W-60 of the other M vehicles.

I think it may be comparing the flat 6's to the V8? It is not a na vs tt thing. The Porsche's simply sing at the higher rpms. I've never felt that with any V8/10/12.

It's the new glass specs for German production I believe. Drove a 996tt Porsche 50K with no glass problems. Installed 2 new windshields in the 997tt in 8 months.
