you should check where the male and female connector plugs into each other and check for continuity there. if that makes sense.

thx for all your answers ,I guess i will bite the bullet and go oem bmw. might be cheaper and less headache in the long run. plus get it in a day or 2

I re used the hose off the dip stick tube put a bolt in it with clamp tie wrapped the hose to the dipstick tube .its way down there and you cant see it that easily anyways.

by the way your describing those hoses the are vent hoses for the tranny and gear box. can you post a pick to make sure thats what your talking about. in other words they go any where.
