Posted the sticker in the CG thread & saw it said look through polarized lens so I put on my Maui Jims & not as purple (in the garage) as in the picture but there is purple. Maybe I will go for a drive.

lol

Drove to the market, seems like less glare, it looks just like the rest of the Sekurit OM the rest of the X has whereas the aftermarket Sekurit it had was very clear.

My alternator died on 02 3L. Not sure it was actually voltage regulator or alternator itself as didn't have time to check.
Luckly, found used on craigslist (was from e39 530) for $80 and got her up and running again.

When the alternator died, OBC was showing between 9.5V~10.5V. After changed 13.5V. Still seems little low side, so in few weeks, I'll install the new voltage regulator just for peace of mind. :)

If it's between 13-14 volts when running you are perfectly ok

I recall between 13.2 and 14.5 considered normal.

It depends what light it in and the angle you view it with. Park it outside and you'll see much more purple than you will parked in the garage! It's not going to appear as "intense" as what you've probably seen in some of the BMW advert pics but nevertheless still very noticeable!

It never seemed really purple like the picture in the thread, but it absolutely has a hue & has more glare resistance. I really hope I can avoid rocks.

Installed 25mm and spacers for the front, 30mm in rear. Lowered to 685mm in the front, 690mm rear. Ride quality is decent, handles the corners a bit better with the wider stance.
