Down here in Australia havent heard of any mileage issues of the Azenis FK453CC.
I have a set of 18 inch tyres on my wifes car a Ford FG XR6 Turbo and the original Dunlops did 31,000km and so far the Falken have done 28,000km and just over half worn.

Wow. Look at those tread blocks. That is a nice looking tire.

These have a REALLY high rubber to void ratio.

European Car was at the tire release drive on the F1 Hungaroring.....

They should drain alot of water then.

They placed 3rd in wet constant radius cornering of 10 ultra high performance tires tested in the european tire test I read. That's good enough for me in "almost never rains" Dallas TX. They HUMILIATED ALL the other tires on dry track lap times and response/feel/feedback!!!

Tires are a compromise, this is what I want from MY tires, not for everyone.

FWIW, if Dallas gets an unusually wet spell or I road trip, I have the OE non-staggered 18"s with B'stone Turanza tires. Can swap sets in around 5 mins.

Drove a 700 hp Viper DD with Michelin XGT-Zs (8yrs/100k miles) in "rains every afternoon" Florida. These should be no problem after that.

Here's the test of Ultra High Perf tires.

Most of the tires tested aren't produced in E53 sizes.

Glad to see someone producing a full tilt UHP tire in E53 stagger fitment.

Tyre manufacturers are finding it very dificult to manufacture a tyre that fits everyones requirments, eg Wet grip, dry grip, wet braking, dry braking and the big one, Mileage. Also it seems that tyres made for the North American market are different in compound to the European market. The European market like soft compound tyres {Less distances to travel} and the US and Australian markets want more mileage.

Emission tested and had a safety inspection done, so she's fully legal and driving around.

First thing is first, replace valve cover and ofh gasket and check out the ccv system and hook the ccv to a vac source. Gotta check the ccv fitting on the valve cover to see if there's a bunch of crap in there lol here's hoping...
