I'm back on Michelins today - the 'Altenzo Experiment' was a failure; they were horrible, horrible tires... when they took off the one from the cracked rim (which is howcome I was driving around with the space-saver wheel on for the last 3 days) it was full of rubber dust, can't describe it another way, like they had been disintegrating from the inside :(
Besides that they didn't run right, the front ones made the car track sideways, even after I had them re-balanced 4 times in different places, and when I had the fronts swapped over, the car was creeping the OTHER way into the kerb! New tires are holding it down like a rock :D

I'm on e90 posts m3 forum. Plan is to use the new vac clevite coated ones. It's a 60k mile 08 e93. Hope to get to it in May sometime.

Got the summer rims cleaned up and ready to mount. The two rears were straightened, so it should be a sweet smooth ride in a week or two. Rims have new Conti DWS's too :).

On another note, I switched the steering wheel trim on the 535 (it was peeling too), mounted the phone in it, got an old iPhone playing tunes, scanned the car (all good).

next is to track down a 2015 dvd map as mine is a 2009.1

I got my 2015 DVDs off eBay for 15 shipped FWIW.

I just rebuilt my DISA with the GAS rebuild kit. Ok so I still need to finish scraping out that gasket that is bonded to the plastic.

I did this even though I did not have codes or pending codes. Just a DISA with a flap that did not spring back. Next is cleaning the ICV.

Installed the Kenwood DNX891HD I got to replace my 8000NEX, it sounds better & actually uses my sub. I could not get the NEX to change the sub level with the volume so had to have it turned way down.
