FM, these settings are probably in IHKA but they will not give you the automated REST function. you have to be very careful with these settings - I changed one of them once (by accident), and the pseudoREST kicked in and was blowing for a long time while car totally cold (a few hours) until i removed the A/C fuse. I was worried about the battery dying, but it was ok...

I have only fully deciphered LCM, and GM3. I have a list of stuff you wont believe in my WTF doc. Like my car is listed as m62b44 in engine hype. Or how my cars rolling width is e53_hp. Curious what you non 4.8is guys have for this. I know my engine is n62b48. |

here are a couple of fsw dumps from my car from tonight. GM3, LCM, IHKA, KMBI and TCU. There is an interesting line in the TCU for bluetooth active. I wonder if I could have used this to activate the bluetooth on my 04 spec TCU that had a PK but I couldnt get to connect. I still have it, but I dont want to pull everything out to try it.
Anyone with one of those 04 spec bubble TCU's that wants to try it? |
So is this the messed up ones?
|
no I dont think they are messed up. I just think it was overcast today and my auto lights were on. I found a few posts from 38/39/53 folks talking about this time of year and the RLS being agressive.
I'm never in the car during the day since I'm always at work. had to run an errand at work so it was strange. I did turn off the tagfarlict line, but looking at what I woudl have changed last night, I didnt touch anything that should cause a problem. Now I want to see if there is a way to keep the true sidemarkers (on the side of the car) on with the lights, and flash with the blinkers. I love the no turn signal/parking light look - good call, but dont like my car having zero side visibilty. |
