U the car is rated 390hp and 360trq right?

I was just wondering where the 237 comes from, looks like a BS run because its low as can be.

Yes I know about the N62B48

2003-2006 E53X5 4.8iS SAV- 265 kW (355 hp) at 6300 rpm and 500 N·m (370 lb·ft) at 3400 rpm

20% drivetrain loss or more because of the AWD, so at the wheels your baseline should be about 285 WHP, and 296 WTQ, bone stock, according to the motor ratings.

I just wanted to know what the true baseline came in at, since the dyno graph above is off, and I don't know why. 200 hp and 311 ft lb on run 1, 284 and 284 on run 2 (this looks reasonable as a baseline), and 269 and 237 on run 3 (torque fell off, motor getting heat soaked?)

As a guy who knows you Mike when people are asking questions to you just posting youtube clips and weird dyno results only open more questions up, and especially since you abbreviate your typings like you are texting on the phone it gets confusing.

It would be easier to say =

My stock baseline was 284 whp and 311 wtq

After mods I am at 320 whp and 363 wtq

Or whatever it may be. I'm just guessing because I can't even figure out the baseline dyno.

That 200 was idk if it was heat soaked or something bu yeah. It was baseline

It was 284whp 284trq was the most accurate one.,

Tunes don't improve over time, tune it and dyno it. Whatever it is is all it is ever going to be. I don't see any takeaway from the video, maybe if I had been there to tell if everybody was at full throttle.

With the mods you have it is very unlikely you would realize more improvement than 20-22HP and 10-12 on the torque side, maybe less as the AA software is not designed to include the other mods you have done.

FYI-I am not aware of any engine software that includes transmission mods. In my E53 experience transmission software is entirely different software.

:iagree: that it is hard to tell what AA software is supposed to do. That's why I have stayed with Dinan software and mods and because they are programmed to optimize other engine and transmission mods from them.

I wrestle with what factor to use to calculate flywheel hp/tq from dyno runs. I find there is a wide range of percentages.

We did try to get mote power from the tune but all it was giving is SES IN THE CAN system... So we maximize potential power from it.

AA engine software is a package deal. There is nothing to modify to get more from the software as purchased.

Yes you can.... Call AA speak to Kharl Hughe. Hell tell you theres more to it...

And mention to Him the 2 X5 in NJ that he had to modify.

There must be a language barrier. My understanding from what you posted was that you and some numbers of others (we) modified the software that AA sold to you. Are you saying you sent their software back to them and they created special software just for the two of you? How did they tune it to your engines?
