Have not started my F10 in over 4 weeks ...... I pretty much expect *something* to show up (I have been using the X5 on a regular basis)...... my experience with my previous (and current) BMWs is that they do not like to stand-still without use (which at the end is great - LOL) and after a few weeks without starting them up they tend to misfire/rough idle/etc.......will see........

After two weeks sitting outside I drove it to my moms. Check engine light for cyl 3. Swapped coil pack and plug. Ready to be parked again

I replaced my interior cabin air filter. YouTube is my friend. Going to do the air filter next. Next week to the shop for a transfer case fluid swap and transmission service. Then in a month, front and rear diff's. Going to do some road trips when this COVID let's up.

Trailering Duty

Installed BC coil-overs. We raised it a bit since this picture was taken the day of installation. I Also added wheel spacers 15/20, but I definitely need wider rims to sit flush at the rear. 19x9 335's just don't do it =/


Letting in "break-in" for two weeks and the go back to re-adjust and align if necessary.

Got to use my Carly for the first time yesterday and did some coding changes on my X.

Mirrors automatically close and open when locking or unlocking doors
Windows now go UP when I lock the car and press button twice.
Can see speed on the dash now.
Double blinking safety light's.
Turn signals blink 5 times on light tap.
Corner light's off when DRL's on.

That's it for now. I thought I could program out the moving steering wheel on startup but not an option with this one. All in all I am pretty happy with the changes.

New headlight lenses. Also add a LED rings for the larger AE rings.

Replacing AD shocks
 

These babies showed up with the FedEx truck today. Hopefully get an early start tomorrow on hooking these up. My RR AD damper is toast and I will switch the pair.

Got my carbon fiber mirror caps today. Switched them out this afternoon.

Ordered a bunch of parts for oil change, transmission drain/fill and vac lines
 

Ordered a bunch of parts from three different suppliers. Vac lines, oil and some odds and ends from dealer. Trans pan and fluid from FCP Euro and the vac lines from Tune-my-euro in GA.

Called Advance Auto in Frederick and got no help on them cleaning the intake manifold. I'll try going to Advance in person and maybe Autozone but if there is no solution there I am a bit out of options. Can't find any online offers for cleaning CBU from intake either. Maybe I should ask the parts guys at a nearby VW dealer.....
