Nice. I normally put a little sealer around them to assure no future leaks.

Lower timing cover mounted with a new radial shaft seal. I put some silicone where the cover meets the oilpan since i use the old gasket 😎

Been thinking about the ccv system, i have bought all new hoses and the oil separator. I havent bought the backpiece on the intake yet, wondered if anyone know if the membran is sold seperatly, or do i have to buy the whole piece? Reffering to number 2 in pic 😄

It comes from BMW as a whole piece. Yes you should change it.

Its like the valley pan, the cheapest part on it fails, and forces you to buy a whole piece. I think i saw somewhere that the membrane was sold separetly. But yes, i will change it 😄

I have a tip for those who have a small front exhaust leak, to check the nuts that fasten the catalytic converters to the manifolds. There are nuts with washer in one piece, new ones looks like they are coated with cupper. On my truck the washer piece had almost rusted away on all 4 nuts and allowed the 2 pipes to not seat properly.

Whoa, look at the clearance between the tensioner and the guide. When i took it apart, the tensioner was almost 3 times extended than now 👍😄
