The thread on clublexus with this title was really popular even after 5 years. It was really useful and helped out a great deal of people.

I have sold my GS about 7 months ago to someone who lived in Texas. They bought it without even seeing it! I miss the power and mods in that car. Over the 6 years I owned it, I just kept modding the car more and more. Ran a consistent 0-60mph in 5.2 seconds and 1/4 mile at 13.9 seconds at 102mph.
Here were the mods and some pictures:
SRT intake with race ECU
L-tuned exhaust, L-tuned side skirts, L-tuned ECU, L-tuned OZ staggered wheels w/toyo T1-S, 2
TRD blue sway bars, TRD thermostat
TTE front lip spoiler
L-sportline roof spoiler
Tom's 6 piece links, Tom's chassis brace, Tom's rear STB
UGO front STB
TEIN flex coilovers with EDFC
Wood steering wheel with E-shift
Rotora rotors w/Axiss ultimate pads, SS brake lines
Optima yellow top battery
Precision Industry "Dragon" Torque Convertor and tranny cooler.
3.76 Supra TT LSD

Seems like a lot of previous lexus owners are now BMW owners. I still love lexus and the overall quality...but nothing touches the way the BMW feels on the road!

Hallelujah brotha. I've owned two Lexuses (or is it Lexi?) myself. I'm now the proud owner of an M3 and X5.

That's natural. At first we learn to crawl, then walk, now we can run.

Yeah this thread is going great so far. I learned a lot of things I never knew about the X5.

Btw, I got this topic idea from clublexus. Haha thanks Drew! My dad had a GS430 that my brother now drives!

hmmm... this feature seems to have gotten lost in the translation to righthand drive. I have now checked 2 righthand drive cars and neither have the power plug on the passengers or drivers side footwells...
