Yeah this thread is going great so far. I learned a lot of things I never knew about the X5.

Btw, I got this topic idea from clublexus. Haha thanks Drew! My dad had a GS430 that my brother now drives!

I have owned 3 Lexus before: 1996 SC400, 2000 GS400 and 2004 RX330. I am now a proud owner of 3 BMW: 2006 BMW M6, 2004 X5 4.8iS, 2002 BMW X5 4.6is. My wife has taken my X5 and selling her Rx330. There is nothing better than a BMW!!!

One I use all the time is turning the radio on without using the key by pushing the radio power button. Turns off automatically after about 20 minutes. I use it when cleaning the interior, etc. Much better than having to listen to the chime with the key in and the doors open.

Does this radio feature (with the vehicle turned off) work with NAV? I tried it and no love. Anybody else have any luck? I even tried holding the power button in for a few seconds - but nada.

I am going to have to try this one later. I hate listening to the chiming key but have to have my music on when I am cleaning.

Sorry, I didn't feel like reading all the threads, but he's some features that I thought was pretty cool.

1. If you're wipers are on (assuming it's raining) when you reverse, the rear wipers move faster.

2. Driving at night, instead of having to turn on the overhead console light, there is this orange light that's only noticable when you pass something underneath it. Found that pretty cool when trying to drink coffee while driving at night.
