I found mine, open the passenger door, feel along the console under the glove box all the way to the floorboard.

Probably already posted on this thread, but now that its cold in the middle of winter....this is a great function....

If you have automatic climate control, there is a button on your HVAC control that either states "REST" or "MAX".

If it is cold, usually below 50F, and you park your car and know you'll probably be back within 20 minutes, there is a "residual heater" function.

Turn off the car, press the "REST" or "MAX" button and there will be a green light on the button. The HVAC will blow the left over heat into the car for about 20 minutes and will shut itself off.

So if you run an errand (e.g. picking up clothes from the cleaners, going to the store, etc.), when you come back, the car will still be nice and warm.

ohhhhhhyeah ... man i've tried to get this to work forever, and can never figure it out.

also, i noticed something in the OBC which allows you to set some sort of REST timer?? i think it's called "REST" ? no idea what that is, or what it does .............

I used the MAX button for the first time a few days ago when I went into the gym. As soon as you push it with the car off you can hear the fan kick in. It was nice and warm when I returned. - thanks again x5world.

you set the timer to the time you want it to start. then at that time, the fans will turn on and blow air into your cabin to cool it down.

i'm assuming by air you mean outside air, NOT a/c or heat, right?

Here are some pics about the 'hidden' power outlet. Found it today, after a 10 min. search!

wow. that is a very random location for a power outlet. i honestly don't see how it could power a cel phone: the spring energy built up by the spiral phone power cord will pull the phone right off of any magnetic mount you may have it on ... i have my phone mounted on a magnet to the right of my shift lever.

any other uses for that outlet?!
