I actually asked for replacement but they responded that they dont see anything wrong with the original pair...all the glue on the angel eyes...yeh
The sellers name was parazite...something I think. I got a full refund + shipping so that was good.

I might try my luck with the other seller on eBay. I really want these lights

Your selling yours just because of the HID ballast issue, or something else? I might be interested.

I haven't pulled the trigger on a set yet, so let me know which ones you go with. What ever happened w/ those adapters you ordered?

Well the hid issue is one. Another is I'm frustrated with angelibright because these headlights cost me so much yet I'm left still hanging like 7 months later. I am also thinking about a cheaper headlight option because I'm really thinking about selling in a year (if I can save up the $ haha) and try and get a new M3.

So if angelibright doesn't allow me to return them I might sell them.

Didn't you pay like $1k for them? I'm sure at this point you're not going to be going lower than the ebay version. I'd just be emailing and calling them daily after spending that kind of money. Selling them won't take that bitter taste out of your mouth from a bad transactions, plus it won't make them treat the next person any better.

whoaaaaa yeah i'm not going that low. and plus they are brighter than the ebay version.

i really have alot of thinking to do. i learned alot with this car, as it is the first one i heavily modified. i now know what to look out for in the future that will avoid me wasting $$. (this is me trying to justify getting ripped off to myself LOL!)

i am working on getting them returned, or the issue fixed, but i know he will give me a hard time. i just wanted to see if another memeber was interested who wanted to try to use their OEM ballasts or if they have stock halogen to use that in this setup.

headlights

I love the (facelifted) look of these lights. I also ordered mine from parasitesingle on ebay. There wasn't an option for stock HID, but I bought them anyway in hopes of modding them. What I did was open both the OEM headlights and the new ones, then I swapped the OEM HID projectors and the self-leveling motors with the new headlights. Perfect fit! (...aside from having to go throught the PITA of baking the headlights).

The new lights now have the factory-fitted projector, HID lights and self-leveling motors!

Only one problem; I think I fried the ballasts when I baked the headlights.... so still no rings.

Even without the rings illuminated, the headlights look so much better.

I'm just going to get my HID kit from www.ddmtuning.com since they're lifetime warranty. I found this the other day eBay Store - AUTOLUMINATE: HID CONVERSION KIT H1, HID CONVERSION KIT H3, H3 3000K Golden yellow but I have no idea of their quality.

Quite true. Excellent looking h/lights. Very oem appearance (if you know what I mean).
GL getting the ballasts changed over and the A/E's working. Please come back with pics when all completed.

It looks really nice! A few questions though before I make a purchase.

1. The seller claims the set has OEM quality build. By comparing with the original light set, how do you feel their quality?

2. Is the halo LED? or CCFL.

3. Is there anyway to avoid the ballasts demage? Open them without baking?

4. Is the ballasts demage the root cause for no rings? If you buy a new set of ballasts, would that resolve the issue?

Thanks.
