My factory wiring harness has no provisions for angel eyes. What is needed to power them? Is the remote relay harness enough or do you also need a ballast?
CCLF uses a ballast, if you buy the headlights with angel eyes they are already installed inside, if you buy just the rings the ballast should come as part of that kit. The ballast are needed to convert the power for the angel eyes...the wiring harness is to give the power to the ballast for cars that don't have the angel eyes, so if you don't have angel eyes...yes you need them both

Hey I just wanted to let you know that I have read your post and I know that you've asked this before, I can't help you right now since my rear air suspension gave out and am waiting for the replacements but as soon as the X is back on the road I will get you those pictures.

Check it out! I just ordered these, it's great for those with factory HIDs; it will allow us to use stock ballasts/bulbs. Which is awesome because my car hated aftermarket ballasts and kept throwing up error messages; I tried a few different ones and sent them all back. I'll post up my results!!

Great find!! I wonder how those compare to the Umnitza Predator Orions and other LED angel eye products out there. they look very bright. A little pricey in my opinion..but if they work and look as good as advertised i guess they are worth it. Keep us posted!

Sure will Mo, the seller seems nice. I actually inquired about this "type" of set-up over 6 months ago. Seller mentioned it was a work-in-progress and they would get back to me! So they got back to me all this time later (which I thought was pretty cool customer relations) and I went ahead and placed the order. I think this is a very new set-up. I mentioned to seller about a group buy; in the meantime, I'll be the test pilot

I'm really curious to know how many LEDs are powering those AEs. I'm getting bored of the CCFL look and am working on getting an LED setup going. I purchased the Umnitza Predator Orions. They are a 60 LED setup and seem to be the brightest on the market. In some of those pictures on the eBay listing they look almost as bright as Umnitzas setup which is interesting.. could just be the pictures...

Did the seller happen to tell you how many LEDs are in there? I sent him a Q on ebay.
