Your x5 is beautiful. I’ve always loved the Imola Red too.

Just ran across this while cruising Craigslist a few minutes ago and thought I’d share. No idea who owns it. I’m just sharing the ad.

I'd like to see a pic of the color placard. Worth a look though the miles are getting up there.

Correct Engine

Hello all, New 4.6 owner here. 03, 124K miles. Still getting acquainted with this new toy. While looking around the engine yesterday the thought came to mind:how do I know if this is the original engine? Someone could have easily swapped it with a regular M62 4.4. I do have the original window sticker. I have dealt with this on some old Italian cars. On those, you could check the numbers on the engine to match to the VIN or like. Curious what opinions are. Thanks

HELP ME OBI-WAN!! I NEED TO FIND AN ABS MODULE FOR A 2003 4.6is

Greetings enthusiasts, I am in desperate need of finding an ABS module (both the electric and hydraulic) for my 2003 4.6is. My mechanic has unsuccessfully purchased 3 rebuilt ones and none of them has been able to be coded properly. This has been going on for the better part of a year and we are running out of options. He has the proper coding equipment(Autologic Drive Pro-ES) and has successfully coded several for both 3.0 & 4.4's, and yet, cannot get it to work w/ my 4.6. Looking for a workaround that hasn't been considered or a place where I can get a new one without having to pay $2,000+.

This is why I bought the one I recently nabbed. If that thing went for near his asking price, I'm in good stead the longer I keep this car sub 120k miles. Lol

Why do you believe the abs pump is bad? Exactly what is the car doing?
