Are you running stock wheels? Won't spacers just move the wheels further outboard and create camber issues? Not being critical, just wondering why you'd add spacers if the wheels are the proper fitment and there are no rubbing issues on the suspension.

Yes, you add spacer to get rid of the "sunk in" look. Those 17"s are not wide enough. I had an alignment after putting 15mm spacers to the rears of my wife's X5.

TMV is correct except for the part of 17, those are actually 18's

This is how the convo went:

Me: What happened now?
Her: I don't know but there's no tire
Me: WTF you mean there's no tire?!?!?
Her: I was driving and the little triangle with circle came on then it went off again then came back on so I pulled over cuz the car was pulling right and I checked the front and there's no tire on the passenger side front.
Me: WTF DID YOU JUST SAY?
Her: Cisco there's no fooking tire.
Me: Where the fook are you?
Her: Don't worry about it I will call a tow truck to bring you your fooking car. (this is where they get defensive)
Me: Can you explain to me WTF you are talking about? I don't get this part "There's no tire"
Her: I told you, I don't know what happened but there's no tire. All I see is the rim.
Me: So you mean to tell me that you don't know WTF happened, you were just driving and the tire just magically fell off the rim?
Her: I'll talk to you later. You are too hostile right now. I will call a tow truck.
Me: Where the fook are you?
Her: Don't worry.
Me: Woman, you better tell me where the hell you're at?
Now I hear voices, patrol car.
Police:"Ma'm are you okay?"
Her: Yes but, "I think (yeah she said that) I have a flat tire"
Police: Ma'm you have no tire. You're currently on State Property and you cannot change a tire here. You would have to drive off on the next exit which is about 200 feet where a tow truck can come get you or you can change your tire.
Her: Can you escort me out
Police: Sure follow me.
Me: DUDE WTF you're doing. You're about to drive on the fooking RIM.
Her: Goodbye Cisco. I will send you the coordinates to where I am so you can come change your fooking tire.
Me: :cus sing:

I get there, see the damage, She's inside the vehicle, driver side, map light on, EATING FUCKING CHICKEN!!! I swear to you all I am not making this up. This was my Saturday night off i287 near Port Chester. I took my key, proceeded to the trunk, pulled out spare, changed tire, went home and went right into my sons room, locked the door and went night night in a toddler bed. Sunday morning went out to see the rim (or get pissed off even more), now waiting to bring it to where I got them PC out in Long Island for repair. Then buying a used Conti DWS (if I can find one).

how about this one? that aluminum rod was as thick as my pinky!!!
