I'm putting my intake manifold back on and I cannot figure out what this pipe sticking out of the bottom of the intake manifold is for.

The one that comes out at a 90 degree angle goes to the "jet pump" thing up next to the DISA valve, and I have the line for that, but there's a second hose fitting directly next to it that comes straight out of the bottom of the intake manifold. I blew through it and it's not sealed. Can anyone help me out and tell me what's supposed to connect up to it? I don't remember taking a hose off here and I don't see anything I have that might fit it either.

Looks like BMW redesigned it. My '06 has a separate hose. Does it connect to an evap solenoid?

Yep, I thought the line from the solenoid went somewhere else, I was all mixed up, thanks!

This statement could not be anymore truer! This truck is definitely a test of one’s emotions, lol.

CCV replaced, thought I could get away with just replacing the valve, nope had to order the hoses too after breaking 1 getting it apart. Next time(IF) I will pull the intake as its not a lot of fun leaving it on.

now to figure out why the check brake linings keeps flashing on and off at times. its not the sensor(S) as I changed them when I did brakes when the light came on. I have a feeling there is a broken wire in the engine compartment some place

I had a similar problem a year or two ago. Ended up having to replace the physical plugs for the wear sensors on both rear wheels. They were both shot…failed plastic lead to water and debris intrusion and failed wiring. Fortunately the plug half on the car side are available still and not a terrible job.
