Got me a new toy.

This smoke machine works great!!

I'm not saying that I have a couple of vacuum leaks, but the White Witch started playing disco music when I used it.....

New coils are done!! I now have a V8 again!!

Test drive results, she's fast and fun!!

I then preceded to insert my dick into drawer and slam it.... (chorus)

Expansion joint had dropped out of the bridge. I have two cracked rims now both left side...
(chorus X2)

Welding day is tomorrow.
I then broke the hood cable while checking the oil!!
(chorus X3)

A bridge abutment is looking better and better for the White Witch every single fucking day!!!!!

Oh and today was her bath day also.

andrewwynn will become famous soon enough
I missed a pothole the size of an X5 tire by inches yesterday. That's new suspension parts galore I'm not sure the car would have made it though the hole!

Haha "binder of receipts!" yikes! there is your problem That's like keeping your receipts for outings with your girlfriend and complaining when the wife finds them!

True!!
But for some reason it's frowned upon if you sell a girlfriend...

Sounds like the roads there are maybe worse than those in New Orleans!? Maybe time to go overland style for your x5’s second act!

I finally pulled the trigger on the ECS 90 deg thermostat. I would like to run slightly cooler temps, mostly for plastic longevity reasons, but also I generally feel that (somewhat) cooler is better with motors. I have a 318 powered jeep that I popped a 15 deg cooler t-stat in 25 years ago and she’s still an OEM beast on the original motor and tranny.

At any rate, I do worry that despite the fact that it’s a MAP t-stat, I will still pop an SES light due to the cooler temps. I also wonder how the radiator will handle it. The heat from the motor has to go somewhere and that place is the radiator. I notice some smaller spreads between engine outlet and radiator outlet temps on hot days and heavy accelerations (less than 15 or 20 degrees). It quickly returns to a more normal 40+ degrees, but I wonder if this spread will be even smaller with the 90 deg tstat. Or will the fan(s) just cycle more often? Time will tell, and I’m looking forward to the project and learning curve.

I'm only running the viscous fan (no 2nd fan) and when it's over 45c I might hit 105c on the guage for a short time. I have ZERO proof but I believe that Gulf editions have different mapping that helps...

PS. I had flat nosed beef and liquid refreshments after today's shit show!
