Lucky bastard! Be sure to post up some pics when you get GT, they are awesome cars.

Installed my trailer hitch. It was a bit time consuming but I am glad to save $700 as quoted by the dealer.

Going to fix that water temp gauge today. Just waiting on the big brown truck to deliver goodies from PLX Devices.

edit: really, aux fan? Today? Really? sigh.

edit2: WTF UPS, how can you still estimate the delivery to happen yesterday... time travel?

edit3: Dear air conditioning system,

I hate you.

- J

Too hot (humid) for all this. Grumble.

edit4: UPS finally came through! Water temp gauge is fixed.

Two weekends ago, I noticed that the front tires were nearly bald and the rears were nearing that too; too many teen driving schools the past few months!

Scoured Craigslist last week and found a set of 4 rims and tires with decent tread for under the price of getting 4 new tires. WINNING! I'll roll on these new wheels, still the same style 57's, and possibly get winter tires on the other rims with bald tires.

when i first installed my footwell lights, i noticed that the setup it was shock resistant.if i move the wire or hit a bump the lights would turn on.this became a problem when the car was off.id wake up in the middle of the night, look out the window and find them on.finally re-wired it so if the car is off, theres no possible way those lights are turning on

on the side note i installed an e39 MID.sadly it was from a 95 5 series so it wasn't plug and play.wires still matched up tho.i like the nob better and it actually fits nicer then the X MID(good job BMW)

@ Aimtimes: Curious was it a dsp or non dsp mid?.. Today I took my spare front sports seat headrests and put them on the rear seats. So now my rear seat go back and forth and the rear passangers can adjust there head rests up down back and forth like the front ones.
"thanks BFfredricks"
Currently talking to a machine shop about making the rear seats recline further back without damaging the X.
