Played around a little bit with cornering lights on my 2004 E53. The corresponding fog light will light on turn signal activation and remains lit for a few seconds after the turn signal is cancelled. Not sure if I will keep it, just wanted to see if I could make it happen. I love this feature on the newer E70 and E83 models.

My lord! Well spent 1.5 months paint correcting and then finally tonight applied CQuartz Ceramic coating since she sits outside. Installed a new license plate holder on the boot lid since the old one had rusted and seized bolts. Next up is to polish and seal the shadow line trim, clean windows and apply CQUartz plastic sealant in headlights.

SET OF NEW ABS WHEEL SPEED SENSORS FRONT REAR LEFT RIGHT FOR BMW E53 X5 2000-04 because mine are over 100K miles and well, IMHO, the over 100K stuff like this doesn't owe me anything. The old ones were frozen solid in their spindle mounting holes. The only way I was able to get them out was during my front end rebuild including CV axles and tapped on the backside of the sensor to force it out. Wire brushed the corrosion out of the hole and then lubed the crap out of it for reinsertion of the old. When I got the new ones it was easy to swap them in. I'll install the new rear sensors soon when I do a rear suspension rebuild and replace those CV axles as well. Mike

Just finished Opticoating the summer wheels, after I cleaned and clayed them. Winters are off and need to be cleaned. I realized I need one new wheel roundel.
Noticed a shit ton of oil on the drivers side suspension, not sure where it came from. I'll have to take the wheel off, steam clean and examine when I am not exhausted. Then I need to replace the steering wheel trim that's peeling. Who said being a BMW enthusiast was easy... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
