New Bosch battery and a newly broken positive cable clamp.

Ordered parts for Heated Steering wheel retrofit. Fuse 29 is in the glovebox so this shouldn't be too hard. Went out for brunch, and will be driving it to the annual ZSCCA Holiday dinner tonight in Sea Isle City. Snapped these shots while I was out and about.

Replaced my air filter (always a mission on an M57!) and the turbo charge hose formed gasket (which had arrived from Latvia about two weeks after I replaced the exhaust manifold).

Now to chase an intermittent annoying high-pitched squeal from right rear wheel (brake rotor wear lip I suspect... probably should replace rotors/pads.).

I recently fixed a squeal on all four brakes of a Volvo I maintain simply removing and reinstalled the pads using anti-squeak under them. Instant cure.

This squeal sounds like brakes but only occurs between 15-40mph, gets louder in right turns and quieter in left turns and does not vary with brake application or park brake application. Have applied copper grease etc., checked backing plate, replaced park brake shoes. Nuttin...

I had similar when rust chip fell off the rock guard and rubbed on the rotor.
