I've checked pressures multiple times. Matched them to the door jam numbers. Still won't clear.

Got a new set of Conti Extreme Contact DWS06 275x40x20 for the front with alignment. With snow and ice coming this weekend, glad to have that done.

New oil pan, gasket and oil level sensor along with oil change. New water pump and hoses. An extra hand is practically a necessity with that water pump, gasket and those two metal pipes. Sheet I hope that’s the last water pump I put on this thing!

Should see a lot of weather up there this weekend be careful and have fun.

My rears are only 8 months old and the fronts were only 1 year old but my lackadaisical rebuilding of my front end over 3 months (4 control arms and ball joints) left the front out of alignment and severely toed-in (.3 degrees each side). Should have taken care of it all at once. It drove straight and true but wore the outer edge of the tires away... Fast...

Live and learn... Always nice to have new shoes though!

You can have the tires re-mounted 180° to move the wear pattern to the inside v outside. As little as $10-20 each

Conti extreme contact tires are directional so they can't be reversed.

By the time I inspected the tires, I actually had visible signs of cord showing through. I noticed the wear was extreme a month ago but still had not done the ball joints. I spent way too much time worrying about my capabilities to get them changed and ignored the obvious. My bad. Another $450 less in the BMW maintenance account.

That's why you have to remount them not just rotate. I used to do that at least once on my Camaro to extend the life since that car is notorious at scrubbing the outer fronts. Swap the front rims then move to the back to get half cross rotation
