So it was all installed and while you were just playing with it the screen went black? Thats no good. Have you tried it again yet?

Bummer on the hardware! Thank you for all of your info here. Looking forward to seeing once you are all setup. Likely going this route myself but am starting with Nav so slighty different. Once you get back on track here do you plan todo PDC connection?

Pictures of the install:

Overall im very pleased with the sound...it looks really good compared to my old radio.

I retrofitted one of the USB's(media) in the cigarette lighter in the center console...gutted the internals and pushed it into the housing...its tight and snug and it also charges the iphone so thats a plus and it looks good too.

You can see in the last pics the split screen but as I previously mentioned, the software took care of it.display corrected itself after the update.

Looks great! I would be all over it if it didn't required cutting of the OE bracket

Noo that is a poor excuse
if you cut it nice enough you can weld it back with JBweld if you'll ever need to.
If you have oem nav then theres no bracket to cut..

Thanks for the behind pics.

It looks nice there. That sucks about the bugs. That is great that Jeff is coming through with a new unit so quickly. Hopefully this is just a fluke and doesn't resemble the build quality.

Although Jeff had a new unit ready to ship, we got it sorted out so everything works as designed .
