Other than cutting the plastic frame is there any splicing or cutting into the factory harness? You mention about connecting the CAN module, is the connection located at the front of the car or at the back of the car? Can you still set the equalization for DSP?

I'm on my way home, will answer to more questions when I get to play a little with it.But I'll tell you now that there's no splicing or cutting necessary unless you have PDC and want it to show on the screen when you put it in reverse.
Jeff said some cars display the front PDC as well so I guess will have to try and see...
Now if you want a rear view camera they provide the plug for it you just buy the camera and run the wire to the back

As for the CAN box , the wire that connects to it is part of the big harness that connects the car to the N6 it just has it's own plug.Connect and drop it in the dash or secure it somewhere so it won't rattle..

Hopefully I was clear enough...I'll let you know about the equalizer

DAMN< SO you're telling me, if I buy this unit...
I get
BT and a mic for a hand free phone call,
DSP still operational with factory DSP equipment
NOTHING needs to be rewired (other than having PDC's display on monitor, which I'd do as I think its cool)
nothing needs to be re-routed (ie MID/OE Radio does not need to be connected and left in glove box or wired in rear somewhere to KEEP MID capabilities)
I get back-up camera IF I supply a camera with typical RCA connexctions
Navigation
USB connectivity
MicroSD card slot
and other things I'm forgetting?

the biggest for me is that I JUST need to buy a back-up cam and run the wires to this unit. No video device is required also?
thats sensational!!
I look forward to reviews yet.
PLEASE PLEASE keep them coming Four.8iS

Are you planning on connecting the MID back? I put my MID in the glove box.

Hey, Mike, this thing looks really good, prolly as discussed at Vitek's.
Maybe we should both order & save on shipping? Not sure how that discount code will work, though (for 2 units)

Doru, I'm good with that idea, IF the product, after a week of vigorous testing by Four.8iS, proves this to work perfectly.

Here's a video on the N6.

Skip to 13:15 in the time line to watch how to turn on the OE DSP Integration.

Guys, the install is done took a bunch of pictures...after I was done though, when everything was working as good as it could work, the screen turned black, the unit was restarting itself and I was getting green and white lines all over the screen...now after an hour of trying to find out what it is I gave up..green and white lines it's all that's displayed at the moment...don't know what happened I emailed Jeff he adviced to reset ; that didn't help..
I even had a cd inside and now it won't eject it...I'll give it an hour see what it does after, but I'm pretty sure something happened to it, maybe the screen is gone.Im really mad as you can imagine..

UPDATE: The issue was resolved by a software update.Having the car ON/OFF at times during the install might have caused battery drainage as well as voltage spikes and thus corrupting the software.
