Nice, very nice... just a thought - do you think the mike can be hidden behind the grill of the motion sensor? or, it would impede the operation of the sensor? if it works out, than the mike is totally invisible...

very nice - I think that anyone who doesn't have a factory nav, and wants an upgraded system, should consider this setup...

now, factory nav - that could be challenging in wiring, as the radio is split unit, half in the front, half in the trunk...

i like this - good job, four.8!!! Enjoy

T, I think the microphone can't be hidden behind the grille unfortunately..i might try it but since its very directional, (tried it), you'll have to talk directly towards it...maybe a better mic should work ?i really liked the oem one...

EDIT: For the ones with factory NAV, just get the FAKRA cable which is about 50$..shouldnt take more than 2 hrs to take it all the way back to the trunk then you are done..might as well do the PDC and rear view camera in the same time.

Looks good.

I wedged the GPS antenna between center vent tube and dash and it has been working perfect from that location. For mic, I'm still using the mic built in the unit (located on face of the unit, not external). I've been told they could hear me fine, not perfect, good enough so I haven't used the external mic.

By then, Dynavin will release newer model with more features and improvements and you will want that instead...

who knows by then maybe Dynavin will use a multi direction mic and have software all updated for this.
I'll follow along so please keep updates going guys.
Not just Four.8iS, but anyone who buys one please write your reviews in this thread.

perhaps... but I will know FOR SURE that the DSP portion will work long term and so will the other features. Plus I don't like buying the first year of ANYTHING. I got caught up in the excitement of this item. I'd probably buy after 6 months of North American testing honestly. Just to make sure the bugs are worked out of all.
I'd really like to see how a few more months are on this device.

Plus, my wedding is going to need to be paid for... this stereo upgrade is strictly a toy. So wedding plans win

From Dynavin comparison page, N6 shows boot time from when the doors are unlocked. Does N6 turn on when you unlock the doors? Are you able to add apps or is the unit specific to DynOS?
