Hartge has really nice looking tips, only the price is bit steep. 815 euros at Hartge dealer in Finland... Haven't asked directly from Harge though.

I will hopefully have a part number by the end of next week. The number is not listed on our spec sheet.

815 euros for tips, they would want to be gold plated for that price?

A bit later than promised but here is the part number for the round chrome tailpipes:

82120429766

£54.95 inc TAX (for them both).

4.8i tips for 3.0i and 3.0d

"alex bidarian" or anyone out there..??

This idea that you can't just buy 4.8i tips and put it on a 3.0i or disesel is what I've been told by aussie dealers/parts department too...(they've told me the tips dont have a part no. they came with the muffler already

though has anyone heard of any bmw stores (online) or e-bay that have identical 4.8 replicas...or any companies that produce exhaust tips for european cars (esp replicas of certain models)

sersiouly the round ones are just too round, the (E53) 4.6is/4.8is are too flat, the 4.8i (e70) are the best....are we sure that no one anywhere has caught these somehow, somewhere....

Help people....

thanks
