Did you just screw those on or did you get them welded on? Any chance you can take a pic from the side? From your pic they seem to stick out quite a bit.

does anyone know what the maximum supported length is available when swapping out the stock 3.0si tips?
there are many universal fit chrome tips available but some are 9inches total length and some upto 12inches long!! also, what is the inlet size needed? 2.25, 2.5, 3.0inch?? I want to order a dual exhaust tip for the 3.0 (one inlet, two outlet) but I'm concerned about it sticking way out...

I'm going to contact all of them to get specs...
from the sound of it, it looks like we're looking for an inlet of 2.5 inches and no more than 5 inch total length on the tips to give it that stock look. I like the dual tip design... some will require welding but there are a few that are bolt-ons... if you there are other options out there please join in!!

I fitted them myself with our mechanic otherwise you'll have to pay the work to put them on, don't know how much that costs. It took us +- 3 hours to put them on. |
