I just took delivery of my 3.0si last week and looking at the back, the tips are chrome/silver and not black. The diameter is pretty thick already. Do the chrome tips slip over? Or does te 3.0si Sport/Prem package already include the tips? Sorry for the n00bie observation/question! :-)

also..... it seems like changing them to the wider ones will require some sort of modification/cutting of the stock rear fender to make room..

can you confirm???

Just fitted the ones I pictured , they slip over very easily and tighten up with one allen key screw..

It's going to be super hot out here the next few days so we're spending the weekend at Newport Beach and kick back.
golfer4life,

Did you ever find out if te 4.8 tips fit on the 3.0si?

Not really, people were giving me different answers but I saw a post from another forum that has a 3.0si with the 4.8 tips. I'm trying to track that post and will let you know. Thanks.
