im in. i also called tuner motorsport ..
what about waranty issue if welding is involved?? no problem right?

My dealer said it will affect the warranty and I have to remove it when I turn in the car after the lease is up.

He is checking with the Service Director to confirm.

If this is the case, I will have to go with the slip on round chrome tips.

Welding the tips will void warranty
I just confirmed from my SA that welding the 4.8 exhaust tips will void the warranty on the muffler system. I guess I'm out for the Hartge tips. I'm going for the slip on chrome tips like James'.

They look quite good.. I fitted them flush with the existing exhaust at first and have since extended them out just enough to allow me to tighten the allen bolt... I'll take another picture and post.

That is exectly what I ordered....I called them up to confirm that they will fit the E70...and they stated that they will and that they have a lifetime cor. warranty.....so for $114 for both I figured its worth a try...I should be getting them tomorrow...hopefully they look as good in person as in pics...if they do i will fit them on the SAV and post pics...if not I'll send them back....

Let us know how this goes. I'd be interesting in seeing how they look installed. Is it relatively easy to pop out the extra piece of the bumper to fit the larger tips?

This is interesting. I looked up this item and it does say that it's an easy clamp type installation. Pretty good price also.

Do I just pull....?
