I can't find any reference to the performance pack in the German doc. Doesn't mean it won't be offered though. Do you know the option code?

Its 7RR at least for the X-6....If its not being offered in Europe I doubt it will be offered in the US...although it was sort of a priority 1 pacjage from what people told me 1500 dollars for 2010 X-6

As far as I can see (and I may be wrong on this!) 7RR isn't available on the X6 in Europe, at least not in the countries I have checked. So it may still be available as an option on X5 in US.

You may be right....with my obsessive personality Its hard to be dissapointed so I always assume the worst...that way if things do turn out for the better i.e. 7RR package its much sweeter and if they don't I was never expecting it anyway.....so far teh dealer could not see the option in teh system...Ill call today to ask him to check again...maybe under individual options...if they have been released...

I was glazing over the new technologies on the X5 on the BMW Deutschland site, there's some pretty cool stuff.

The xDrive40d will be the model to own. Wicked fast for a truck and reasonably efficient. Hard to argue a 6,6 second sprint to 100km/h and a combined fuel consumption of just 7,4 l/100km (32 US mpg or 38 UK mpg), not much more than the 30d.

The Speed Limit display* has gotten even smarter. It actually can work in conjunction with ConnectedDrive and recognise different speed limits for different kinds of vehicle. It talks to the rain sensor, the trailer, and the clock, so if the speed limit is 130km/h in the rain, it'll show that instead of the derestricted sign. If you're towing, it might just show a maximum of 100 km/h.

So its more of the same computer stuff.

*Not on US models.

I'd rather get 12mpg doing 0-60 in 5 seconds in the xDrive50i.
