That would explain Acua and Lexus, but my 2005 Ford Focus and my Mother's 2008 Taurus have almost no orange peel, and I doubt they were wet sanded.

I think BMW is just being a bit too "Green" and is using to high a solids content in their clear coat to cut down on solvent fumes, but that's just a guess.

Thanks, but I am yet to see those... I believe 4.0d has round ones, will 3.5d also have round pipes ?

Le Mans.....do the packages stay the same to for the 5.0?? If so does that mean the new features like lane departure etc are stand alone and the premium, tech, cold weather, sport activity and m sport package contents and prices stay the same??

2007-2010- X5 SE doesn't come with leather seats as standard whereas the M-sport model does and costs 5k more.

2011- the SE now comes standard with leather seats and still costs 5k less then the M-sport. Does this mean that there are additional standard features on the m-sport apposed to the SE for 2011-?

I just visited the BMW X5 international webpage, but there's no mention of 35d engine. I'm guessing 35d is available only in north America while Europe gets an uprated 30d or the 40d twin-turbo in terms of diesel.

BMW 5GT has LED corona rings and they are used as DRL in US. They are more brighter than the outgoing regular DRLs.

BMW only has the 35d engine legalized in US.
