You rock!!!Finally something in writing for the US!!!
Overall it seems BMW cut back on some things like heated rear seats as part of the cold weather and actually increased prices on some....Overall Id say price hike..if this is any indication they will jack up the rates on teh lease offers initially untill sales get hurt...ud think they would learn from the past few months...good lease deals , Eco credit helped them boost sales over the past few months otherwise they were wayyy low in the numbers compared to last year!

Yes, ordered Jet Black. Was the 2nd person today, apparently! My CA says f or some reason, BMW rolls out available colors sequentially.

Thanks & good luck!

Not having paid much attention to black in the past can you guys explain why you chose jet black over saphire Black....I thought Metallic colors were better especially in black where someone told me black in a metallic color hid dust or dirt better than jet black...does jet hide the plastic black moulding better??

Metallic black is more forgiving when it comes to scratches and swirls as compared to jet black. Ask any detailer.

Yep. Had a jet black 3 series a while back. After 1 year paint looked terrible unless it had just been waxed. Never again.

Ah, the old Jet Black vs. Black Sapphire debate. Comes down to personal taste and willingness to deal with cleaning more often.

My cousin has oyster interior in his 335, looks great and is easy to keep clean so far. Note that he has no kids and no dog

Looks like no performance package (7RR). I bet they don't play that card until next year.

Heated steering wheel appears to be available with M sport package though.

There are only 3 years of facelift X5 before we see the 3rd gen X5 in 2013. BMW always adds more features towards the end of model to boost sales. e.g. the outgoing 6-series has frozen gray color available this year. I am sure we will see more stuff on E70 X5 too before the curtain is drawn finally.
