Ah dammit BMW codes got deleted from my reader...
Pretty sure the generic codes were P2135/2136.

My Rein t-stat had slightly different markings then the original... I wish I took some pics so I could compare them to my second Mahle unit. I am sure the OEM unit is available as an after market unit that is not marketed as a BMW unit...

Maybe an alternative part directory sticky is in order?

Make up lights, foot lights, trunk lights are separated and in common plastic and they are very, very bright! Only reading lights you have to change with bulbs!

Replaced the foam(?) supports in both front struts to get rid of clunking (fixed!) and replaced the truck latch switch. Guess I grabbed it too hard for the old plastic and broke the outer rim that keeps it snug against the body. Was just kind of dangling inside there for a while till I got the new part.


That fix was by far the easiest one ever on this vehicle.
