I believe the issue is probably only with the Android devices. iProducts tend to be very rigid and consistent whereas Android is more flexible and less consistent due to a LOT of variables with manufacturers and hardware platforms.

But it still begs to question that the Carly users need to push for an option in the Android version so the menus are visible.

See attached picture of the black text in the grey background from an earlier release. Very hard to see in person, it actually looks better in the picture taken with a camera.

There is variability among Android devices that makes them unique and very customizable. This variability probably does make it harder for developers to make programs that work across all devices and operating systems but it's worth it. All I can say is that on my five Android devices, the menu has been perfectly legible: white font on dark grey background. The iPhone is a powerful device and it started the whole craze. If I wanted a cookie cutter device, I get the apple product.

Yes, definitely better on the iPhone. Apparently the latest version of Carly needs an Android device which is more up to date than my old Samsung Galaxy S.

I'm on a Galaxy Note 3 and see bright colors, not dark gray.

And why is that person coding while driving?!

So anyone using Carly for BMW with a hard to read drop down Menu field on Android, along with your device type, please include your Android OS version as well.

Mine which is gray with black font is Lollipop version 5.0.2 which is very hard to read depending on the lighting and if you are wearing sunglasses. After some brief research it appears that that this version 5/Lollipop did some screwy things with the color pallet and scheme to the point many users were very put off with the home screen as well as some of the Apps.

This is Android 4.2.2 on an S 4 Active. The Tab 4 7.0 is running 4.4.2 and looks the same. They're older versions but they check out.

They're may be something to the Android 5.x.x reports regarding color palette.

Wow, I would love to see the drop Menu with white text!!! Thanks for posting the screen shot. This would work out fine if it had white text. I have attached the same screen shot now that I have figured out how to grab one.

So not sure if the problem is an LG issue or a Lollipop color pallet problem. I guess we will need a few more people to comment.

I believe I could try to tweak some of the colors in my device, but I think I would have to go into developer options and it might cause problems on other Apps. Carly is the only App I have noticed problems with at this point on my device.

Your home screen just looks plain different than mine. What version are you using? Mine is 18.00.

The most recent screen shot was running version 18.10, but this is also running on an 8" LG V400 table. The picture I posted earlier was from about 3 months ago on the same device, so that was a very different version that I do not recall.

I haven't upgraded to 18.10 yet but I don't imagine it'll be too different. I'll confirm tonight, though.
