No, the charcater set in the nav supports traditional latin charcaters only (a-z, A-Z, with support for the usual special European characters like umlaut, accent, grave, etc)

@Kiwi

Latin charcaters would be ok too!
I mean,greek words,but in latin letters.

This can be possible,or not?

I just must translate the english menue (or german.i speak german too) in greek,and then write it with latin letters!

But i have no idea,how too change the menue.With Navcorder,or navtweak?

Use NavTweak to change the GPS menu text. Get a copy and use it, you'll see how it works.

Read the NavTweak thread.
It doesn't edit the MDF or ISO file.
It edits the navboot file contained within the MDF/ISO image file

It does work, many people have used it

Jochen, you are right only partly - the character set in the nav supports traditional latin characters BY DEFAULT only. BUT if you want - you can draw your OWN character set (any type and style), using navtweak. Here you can see Russian version: http://www.gren.ru/project%20mk4%20rus.html

Yes. You can also draw Greek, Latin, Indian, Martian, Venetian, and the small obscure language used by the nomadic tribes of Alpha Centuri 5.

oh, however, that's only limited to the nav menu right?

what i was thinking is to have the screen display chinese song title via DICE / IPOD, but i was told that the limitation is at the screen, where it can only show a limited no. of symbols (perhaps not?).
