NavCoder changes the language of the nav, and the nav tells the whole car what language to use. So everything changes.
I have tried DE, GB, IT, FR and US in my car - it works. I have not tried NL! |

Language code number 9 (female only) works perfect for Dutch (NL) navigation.
Both text and spoken messages work fine within V28! Cheers,

You can also use 'IBus analyser 1.0.011' or 'WinBus' until Jochen has implemented this in his NavCoder.

Problems with Loading V29.1
Hello,
I am a newbie here. I burned a CD with both V29.mdf & V29.mds and followed the instructions on this forum to upgrade the OS. I have a 2006 X5 with Nav and I do not know which Nav it is (MKIV, MK3 etc.). Anyways, the Nav systems says that it is "Incorrect CD/DVD" and asks me to insert the right one. I burned the CD using windows default program and also using Sonic, but both do not seem to work. Am I doing something wrong. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks |

Aux. vent disappeared in v 29.1 - any hints?
I ran the 29.1 O/S update on a 2003 BMW X5 with the MK IV, and everything worked perfectly, except for the item "Aux. Vent./heating" which completely disappeared from the MENU screen.
Any hints?

Disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then connect it again and your Aux Vent/Heating will appear again.

I have a 2005 M3 and have just received the 2007.2 map update from Navteq.
If I install v.28 or v.29.1 will it mess up my Assist/Bluetooth in anyway? |
