Hi everyone:

I downloaded V31 into my MKIV. I just got the NavTeq 2008.1 disk. I activated the perspective mode on my GPS, but there is no difference on the map with the function on or off. The colors look also different. I thought that the perspective gives an almost 3D image? Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do something else?

Thanks in advance

When you activate function in hidden menu, you will get the function so you can activate it in normal menu... Make sense ???
Well after activating perspective, go to the map mode and into the menu where you can chouse how map is showen (north, travel direction perspective) and chouse perspective

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O8YINIDZ (note, this is in Mode1 format, so don't use this if updating a MK3)

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7FZAF47X (an updated version in Mode2 format)

HI!

What it's the difference between Mode 1 format and updated version mode 2 format?
I use mk4.

Undoubtably youmean a mkIV. BMW never made a Mk6 nav

> is there a way to change the text language of the navi?

The Mk4 can have 3 x languages loaded. These are changed in the Settings screen

IF you don't like the 3 x languages you currently have loaded, you can change them. Possible languages are GB, US, IT, FR, DE, ES, NL, RU.
You can have any 3 loaded.

You can ask your BMW dealer to load new languages, or you can do it yourself with my NavCoder software.
