Sorry for the basic questions, but I'm pretty new at this. I'm currently at v23. Can I upgrade straight to v26? If I can, will it include any updates for the versions in between?

I just burned the disc with Alcohol 120, but the only option I had to change it to was 48x from maximum. I have a Sony DVD burner to do both DVD's and CD's. Do you think that will be a problem? Thanks.

There have been some questions regarding the highway icons now showing up in crappy boxes, rather than the actual highway icons. Someone posted a picture with the updated software here, which actually shows the real highway icons:

However, every other picture of the upgraded software I've seen shows these boxy, crappy looking, highway signs. (See HWY 18). Is there a setting that controls this feature, or could it be that this differs between BMW models?

If anyone still needs to download the 137MB .rar file, I have posted it to a much faster server. PM me if you need the link.

Nice. Thanks for doing that.

I'm pretty sure that some folks with v25 had the actual highway icons and upon a subsequent upgrade to v26 their icons turned to boxes. I'm holding off on upgrading until I can verify that the good icons will stay.

The HWY 18 is a Canadian highway. All of my U.S. highways show the actual highway icons. The island that I live on is right inbetween the U.S. mainland and Canada, so I frequently have both displayed on my screen.

Great update! I used a Mac to burn the CD with Roxio Toast and the subsequent update went very smoothly. Thanks UCrewX5!

Just before I start the update: can I use the update for a "German" X5, with MKIV? Can I choose German/Franch/UK English languages to be instaled? Thanks!
