it figures I find this thread after I make a down payment on a new Alpine unit. Think I'll suck up the cancellation charge and stick with keeping it stock as much as possible, since I already have the bluetooth retrofit that goes along with this.

Wonder where you get the nav SD cards?

am going to love getting rid of the DICE Silverline, which never worked as advertised

and love getting back my CDs

Let me know how it works out for you, I would love to do the same thing too after you complete your setup

Yes it does.

why are you banging your head against the wall?
because it feels so good when I stop.

the dynavin unit looks like the way to go..., but I'm going with my first choice, the Apline INA-W900. being done by a very good installer here in Idaho Falls. (they had done my GMC van in 2001) more expensive, and most likely more shop time, but I've discovered over the years, your first thought is often the correct way to go.

Hi All,

Some guys in SA say they have stock and that its all "plug & play" or as I say, "plug and pray".

Asked them for a physical unit to see working and the look and feel. Will let you know.

Buy BMW X5 (E53) GPS, TV, DVD, iPod, Bluetooth, 7" Touchscreen [SSAS-BMW041]

I think that looks great. Not perfect, but defiantly better than the Business CD that I currently have in my setup. Thanks for uploading the pics. How does everything sound and work? And do you know if it works with the factory CD changer? I don't have one but I do have the XM setup hooked up to the CD changer plug. Thanks again!
