New transfer case actuator yesterday.

We tried to repair the old(original) one with a new gear, but something was wrong with the electric motor also.

Knock wood, she's running fine now.

My AFE was on sale for 1/2 off. If I choose to stay with the stock intake, I can likely recover most of the cost on sale of the AFE. After 3 years of use, it was certainly worth that. :thumbup:

What kind of filter did you use on your home made one? And yeah.. Give with the pics!

Lf Frt Window Regulator

Did this yesterday on the drivers door. Only the left side rear regulator is original equip. Over the last 5 years I've replaced 3 out of the 4. Funny enough, I saw some instructions somewhere here for a temporary fix for a malfunctioning regulator, that temporary fix lasted well over a year. I finally decided to replace it when the window started making noise when moving.

Did the oil filter gasket housing on friday night (that was fun) and did the valve cover gasket on the saturday...left the access panels open for the transfer case/trans drain and MAN is there a lot of old oil still dripping out lol.

I can proudly say I have not lost a drop of oil since friday though :) CCV system is working great oddly enough and little to no build up on the underside of the valve cover...although the valvetrain was very dark lol.

I'm also building my own intake for my 3.0, basically same idea as the AFE intake (45 off the air flow meter to a 7" long cone filter with heat/air shields) but I'm adding a velocity stack to the front of the air box :) total cost is $94, I will post pics once I've started!

Consider that I had only limited experience with the stock intake and the resonator removed. I put the AFE intake on about two weeks after the resonator delete. That was April, 2011.

So, it's more quiet. WAY more quiet. Not that I just adore loud sounds... it was just more quiet. For that, I cannot say whether it is faster or slower. I can say that it *felt* slower... but I think that's really just that it *seemed* slower. It's still balls out fast.. it just does it with a little less notice than it did with the AFE.

So, I'll run this for awhile. See what my mileage does (if anything). I'll see how it *feels* around town. Replacing the intake took less than an hour. Let's see how it does for a little while.

Waiting to read of your findings ob Fuel Econ and seat of the pants performance reduction if anything.

I voted to stay stock for multiple issues/reasons.

Blue painters tape accomplishes the same thing.

Changed differential fluid, transfer case, transmission fluid, and fuel filter at 88k miles. Transmission and diffs were slightly dark, transfer case was black! The cover for the fuel filter was a pita..
